Guide to the Project Overview

This article concerns the Project Overview for Projects with Task Allocations. Thereby, it's only relevant for projects which do not have any project allocations. If project allocations are used, the Project Overview with the Project Timeline will be shown.

The Project Overview for Projects with Task Allocations consists of five components: Project Details, Task Allocation Graph, Current Sprint, Task Overview, and Task Status Columns. Each are listed and described below.

Project Details

The first component from the top left of the Project Overview works the same across all types of projects. It simply shows the basic information about the project, including start and end dates, project stage, project contact, and project status. Moreover, the open book button, at the bottom right of the component expands the Project description.



Task Allocation Graph

The Task Allocation Graph is a visual representation of the current task allocations for the project by role. In other words, it shows you if you've allocated enough people, with the right roles to the project tasks. If you have not assigned enough people with the needed role, the unallocated bar on the graph will be red. 100% means that you have assigned people with the right role to all of your tasks.



Current Sprint

Current Sprint shows you details on the status of the current sprint of the project. The sprint name, how much is remaining of the sprint, the remaining capacity available, and the number of hours ahead or behind schedule.



Task Overview

Task Overview gives you an overview of the current status of tasks, and time remaining in your project. It uses estimated hours and task status to serve a visual status bar and percentage of all tasks. Below the status bar, you see the total estimate of tasks with the Done status, the remaining hours on tasks which are not yet done (i.e., to-do, or in progress), and the total number of estimated hours.

The graph below shows all the tasks as points on a map based on the time estimate and the registered hours on the task. As the registered hours come closer to the estimated time, the task will gradually move towards the grey line. The grey line indicates the perfect 1:1 relationship between estimated and registered hours on the task. If a task is done, the dot will turn green. If a task is not done, it will stay red.


Below the graph, you can toggle different views by selecting exactly which dataset you want shown in the graph. Click on one of the three colors to see Done, Not Done, or All tasks.

Task Status Columns

Task Status Columns let's you customize what to see. The columns shows shows all tasks in the project based on the tasks' current status.

  • Upcoming deadline: Tasks with deadline within the next 7 days (except if they are done).
  • Overdue: Tasks that have exceeded their deadline.
  • Current sprint: If you are using sprints, this will show you all tasks in the current sprint.


  • To do: All tasks that has not been worked on yet, i.e. all tasks in a "To do" column. Multiple columns in workflow can be "To do"-columns. It will show all tasks from these columns.
  • In progress: All tasks that are in progress. Multiple columns in workflow can be "in progress"-columns. It will show all tasks from these columns.
  • Done: All done tasks, i.e. from all columns with a Done status.
  • Not done: All tasks in a "To do" & "In Progress" column in workflow.
