Automatically track and report time with the built-in timer

Forecast has a built-in timer made to make it easy for you to track time during the day. The timer is available in the web browser version of Forecast, as well as in the app available for both Android and iOS platforms. 

The timer is running in real-time across both the web version and the mobile apps, which makes you able to start the timer on your laptop, and stop it on your phone.

Using the General Timer: Browser App


The timer is located at the top right-hand side of your screen. Click the Play Button to start the timers once you click play, the Pause & Stop buttons will be prompted. 


Step 1: Click Play to Start

Step 2: Click to Pause the timer

Step 3: Click to Stop the timer altogether, and log the time on a given task, project or non-project. 



Step 4: Click Log

Using Task Timer:

Step 1: Enable the timer through the hamburger menu.



Step 2: Start the timer.


Step 3: When stopping the timer, a module will pop up to register time on the task.



Notes: If you forget to Stop or Pause the timer we can look at the task estimates & your working hours.



Using the Timer: Mobile App

Step 1: Tap the Start button at the bottom


Step 2: Tap the Pause button at the bottom


Step 3: Tap the card you've been working on



Step 4: Tap Report Time
